Complexul Hotelier Codru a fostconstituit in perioada postbelica

Initial hotelul s-a aflat in cladireacu doua etaje amplasata la colulcartierului mrginit de strzile 31 August1989, i Nicolae Iorga

Prima atestare documentar dateaz din1876, cnd aparinea nobilei EcaterinaRleakov. La nceputul secolului al XX-lea, casa veche de la col a fostdemolat i n locul ei a fost construit ocas de locuit cu dou etaje.

Fatada cladirii este executata in stilecletic u standarde clasice.

Cladirea reprezinta un monument dearhitectur de nsemntate local,introdus n Registrul monumentelor deistorie i cultur a municipiului Chiinualctuit de Academia de tiine.

In 1974 hotelului i-a fost atribuita

denumirea "CODRU"In 1989 i se atribuie categoria decomplex hotelierIn 2000 a fost inregistrata marcacomerciala "CODRU" la Agentia de Statpentru Protectia Proprietatii IntelectualeAGEPIIn 2004 a primit Actul de clasificarepentru categoria de 4 stele atribuita decatre Departamentul Dezvoltarea

HISTORY

The Hotel Codru was founded in thepostwar years in a two stores

building situated in downtown atthe corner between the 31 august1989 street, 125 and Nicolae Iorgastreet.

The first document dates from1876, when had belonged to thenoble Catherine Rleakov. In theearly twentieth century, the oldhouse at the corner was demolished

and in that place was built a twolevel house.

Architectural details of the mainfacade of the building are made ineclectic style with classicproportions.

The building is an architecturalmonument of local importance,

registered in the Book ofmonuments of history and cultureof Chisinau Academy of Sciences.

1974 the hotel received its currentname - "CODRU"1989 the hotel's category wasupgraded to that of a hotel complex1998 the hotel complex "CODRU"

CODRU is a 4 star hotel complexfavorably located in the very centerof Chisinau, in the diplomaticprotocol district of the capital. Thehotel mainly specialises inaccommodating official delegations,businessmen and celebrities.

The Old building with 2 floorsdates back to late XIX century andis a monument of architectureprotected by the state.The first document dates from1876, when had belonged to the
