The perspective of the democratic development of our society, as well as the objectives set in the "Education 2020" Strategy which highlights the urgent need for the highest-skilled workforce, dictates the need to expand the theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of political activity. The importance of the program, proposed for cycle I, the specialty of Politology, resides in the fact that the curriculum includes the issues regarding the formation and functioning of the political system and the political regime, the mechanisms of the political power, the activity of political parties, interest and pressure groups, the role civil society, political culture, political participation in the sociopolitical field as a whole. The specific field of training of the Politology specialty focuses on the transposition of theories and theoretical approaches in the field of political science m PolltlcaI practice and activity, such as analyzing and forecasting political processes programming and managing political activity, electoral campaigns, applying communication5 negotiation and management strategies, of conflicts, the use of electoral technologies and PR technologies in building and promoting the image of leaders, parties, political programs.
