MELANGE, luând în considerare principalele sale caracteristici (şarm, intenţie de cumpărare, primă alegere, %) este cea mai performantă baterie în trei din patru teste – teste de concept efectuate atât în Italia cât şi în Germania, şi teste pe produs în Germania

Totuşi, performanţele bateriei MELANGE în testele de produs din Italia au fost slabe – a primit un scor scăzut la şarm, a ieşit a 3-a sau a 4-a din punct de vedere al numărului de persoane care ar alege-o ca primă opţiune şi numai 32% dintre consumatori s-ar gândi să o cumpere (faţă de 52% la testul pe produs din Germania)

Evaluarea bateriei MELANGE de personalul de showroom este asemănătoare (şi pozitivă) în ceea ce priveşte atât testele de concept cât şi cele pe produs, cu peste jumătate din persoane la fiecare test considerând că MELANGE ar face cu ochiul cumpărătorilor de lux

73% din personalul de showroom ar fi interesaţi să vândă MELANGE în showroomul lor

Consumatorii din ambele ţări care au preferat MELANGE erau mai tineri, aveau venituri mai mari şi erau din segmentele de consumatori care cheltuiau mai mult şi stabileau trendul pe care Ideal Standard îi doreşte ca target (‘Iubitorii de performanţă’ şi ‘Cei care se bucură de căminul lor’)
