Descriere şi utilizare: Pompele HILO sunt pompe duble cu roţi dinţate, cu placă intermediară cu supape; ambele trepte au o aspiraţie comună şi o refulare comună. Când presiunea de lucru este mai mică decât presiunea de comutare, debitul corespunde ambelor trepte. Când presiunea de lucru este mai mare decât presiunea de comutare, debitul corespunde primei trepte. 3 Dacă (Vg1+Vg2)>9 cm /rot, atunci pompa HI-LO necesită o aspiraţie suplimentară pentru a preveni cavitaţia.
