Permeability of water vapour is afeature which directly determinsquality and application of a specificmaterial, for instance cloth, shoes.Improper material if applied, may

result in unhealthy or uncomfortableuse.

In order to determine content ofwater vapour, moisture analyzer isequipped with special vessel.Developed method of permeabilityof water vapour is based onlocating adequate amount of waterin special vessel made of aluminumalloy, on which the cut-out sample isclamped.Vessel with properly calculated

amount of water and a pieceof cloth cut with blanking tool isplaced in drying chamber of amoisture analyzer.

Before that, the vessel is kept for 24hours in stable climateconditions. Than, as the vessel is indrying chamber of moistureanalyzer, it is dried in temperature140C. Big advantage of thisprocedure is very short samplingtime (overall approximately 50

minutes, whereas standard methodtakes approximately 72 hours!).

Results of those analysis are givenin mg of H2O/1000mm2/24h or bypercentage ratio of amount ofwater vapour transmitted throughmaterial to amount of water vapourtransmitted without examinedmaterial.

A balance can never be more accurate than the test weight used to adjust it, it depends on itstolerance.Accuracy of the test weight: Should correspond to the readout d of the balance, ratherthan something better.Nominal weight value: This is shown in adjust mode CAL in the balance display. Given thechoice, the heaviest weight is the most suitable for accurate measurement.

Unbalance of positive & negativeions In air is mostly the reason ofundesirable electric influences(attraction or repulsion) on elementsthat are close to each other.The phenomenon is intensified ifmaterials that do not conductelectricity are used (plastics, glass).

Because balances contain suchmaterials, the problem influencestheir operating meaningfully.

The influence occurs as multiplied repeatability error and often as multiplied indication error.

Most often unfavourable electrostatic interactions phenomenon takes place In surroundings wherethere is low relative humidity, that is below 40%. Antistatic ionizer DJ-01 is a device that meets allrequirements of valid directives.
