YTNBTJL. NOTIUNI INTRODUCTIVE

h timU englezd, verbele se impart in verbe regulate gi

rcrbe neregulate. Orice verb are forme qi terminafii. Cele trei@isunt:

o forma I. numitd qi forma de infinitiv. Infinitivul lung alunui verb este insofit de particula ,,to".Exemplu:to go - went - goneto follow - folllwed - folllowed

Atunci cdnd particular ,,to" lipseqte, vorbim despreinfinitivul scurt al verbului. Infinitivul lung se foloseqte intr-osuccesiune de verbe, iar infinitivul scurt este folosit dupdverbele modale.

o forma a-II-a, numitd qi forma de trecut ( past) .

Se foloseqte doar pentru exprimarea timpului trecut (pastsimple).

r forma a-III-a, numitd qi forma de participiu trecut ( paslmrticiple). Se foloseqte pentru formarea timpurilor perfecte gi

pentru formarea diatezei pasive.

Negativ:- se formeazd, cu ajutorul auxiliarului do/does
