▪ Working with client - Renault Technologies Romania, Passive Safety team on impact simulation;

▪ Types of simulations: frontal, side, rear, RCAR frontal and rear, pedestrian (head, upper leg, tibia), correlation studies;

▪ 3D assembly of the the numerical model using ANSA (PamCrash deck) taking taking into consideration the references of the demand

geometry cleaning and meshing; mannequin and belt positioning; mass adjustment; impactor positioning and limit conditioning; check if materials and characteristics of targeted structures are correct; debugging and solving numerical inconsistencies;

▪ Numerical crash computation and simulation in PamCrash;▪ Result analysis using MetaPost

check of the numerical stability and 3D behaviour - numerical validation; behaviour analysis of the simulation;

▪ The study report requires structural analysis of the computation, purposing solutions or different approaches on modelling and geometry for better behaviour or stating why the target criteria is not reached.
