Cēres school – founded in 1840.It is located in Cere manor house.

It is Cere parish’s cultural and educational centre.

Our school on 1 September

1 September- the day when we meet friends after summer, the day

of joy, smiles and flowers.

We have the gym, built in 2006 and sport ground near the school.

We like to play voleyball, basketball, floorball, football

We have different traditions:every autumn and spring we go to educational excursions.

Teachers’ day – when students of grade 9 go to classrooms as the

teachers. But the real teachers relax.

Martin’s day - 10 November – marking the end of autumn and the beginning of

winter.

We eat traditional food, sing, dance, play games.

Lāčplēša day – 11 November – tribute to the freedom fighters and soldiers who

defended Latvia country.

Students are introduces to the soldiers work, equipment, weapons.
