    Acidul malic este un compus organic ce se gasete n mod natural n fructe ca mere, struguri,ananas, fructe de pdure etc.

    A fost izolat pentru prima data din suc de mere n 1785, iar n 1787 a primit denumirea de acidmalic.

    Acidul malic este un compus important ce crete nivelul de energie din organism i rezistena laefort fizic.

    Ca aditiv se oine prin sintez c!imic saudin fructe. Cea mai mare parte a acidului malic prezent n alimente se oine prin sintez c!imicdin acidul maleic.
