Crasanii de Jos is a village in Balaciu in Ialomita county, Muntenia, Romania.

At the end of the nineteenthcentury, the village was namedFundu Crasani and village resident was Crasani Ialomita-Balta, Ialomita county. The village was made of the villages Crasanii de Sus and Vadu Pietros had much habitants, and in it were 3 mixed rural churches and three schools.

Later, the village was named Crăsanii de Jos, whose residence was common and was named Crasani. It comprised Crăsanii de Jos, Crasanii de Sus and Crăsanii Copuzu.

Dacian fortress of Crăsanii de Jos is a Dacian fortification of the four century located in Romania, in Ialomita county.

Crasani monastery is situated on the left bank of Ialomita river between the villages Balaciu and Crasani in a glamorous place and loneliness, whose silence is disturbed by the birds singing just plain.
