Lorena David Profesor coordonator: Alexandra Cornilescu Titlu: Relativele libere in engleza si romana Rezumat: Scopul cercetarii este o descriere a relativelor libere din limba romana in comparatie cu relativele libere din engleza: Studiul relativelor libere se va situa in cadrul sintaxei generative in variantă minimalistă, cu elemente antisimetrice (Kayne 1994, Bianchi 1999).Colateral vom a borda problema corelativelor [ correlative clause REL-XP…] [main clause …Dem …].Forma acestor constructii este cea a relativelor libere iar aparitia elementelor corelative tine de constrangerile care privesc recuperarea cazului antecedentului nelexicalizat, vorbitorul simtind nevoia sa foloseasca corelatia din motive discursive sau cand antecedentul este obligatoriu gramatical (in cazuri de conflict mismatch cazual). In ceea ce priveste corpusul, acesta va fi constituit din relative libere si corelative din limba romana care sa ne arate frecventa formelor flectate in raport cu cele neflectate pentru ca una din ipoteze este ca si romana are complementizatori de tip Cº.
