1 BEEP SCURT One beep is good! Everything is ok, that is if you see things on the

 screen. If you don't see anything, check your monitor and video card

 first. Is everything connected? If they seem fine, your motherboard has

 some bad chips on it. First reset the SIMM's and reboot. If it does the

 same thing, one of the memory chips on the motherboard are bad, and

 you most likely need to get another motherboard since these chips are

 soldered on.

  2 BEEPURI SCURTE Your computer has memory problems. First check video. If video is

working, you'll see an error message. If not, you have a parity error in

 your first 64K of memory. First check your SIMM's. Reseat them andreboot. If this doesn't do it, the memory chips may be bad. You can try 

 switching the first and second banks memory chips. First banks are the

memory banks that your CPU finds its first 64K of base memory in.

You'll need to consult your manual to see which bank is first. If all your

memory tests good, you probably need to buy another motherboard.

ajuta, reseta i cipul care controleaza tastatura, î n caz ca nu este sudat.ț 

 Daca emite î nca un semnal sonor, inlocuiti cipul daca este posibil.

 Inlocuiti placa de baza daca cipul este sudat.

 slotul sau. Daca beep-urile persista, fie fie memoria video este defecta fie

î ntreaga placa nu functioneaza. Cea mai buna solutie este inlocuirea

 placii video.

  9 BEEPURI SCURTE  BIOS-ul este defect. Reset sau inlocuire de BIOS.

10 BEEPURI SCURTE  Problema ta se afla adânc î n interiorul CMOS. Toate chips-uri asociate

cu CMOS vor trebui probabil sa fie î nlocuite. Cea mai buna solutie este

 sa obtineti o placa de baza noua.

11 BEEPURI SCURTE  Problema ta este la cipurile de memorie cache de pe placa de baza.

 Reinstalati sau inlocuiti aceste cipuri.

  1 BEEP LUNG, 3 SCURTE  Probabil tocmai ati adaugat memorie de la placa de baza, deoarece

acesta este un esec al memoriei conventionale sau extinse. In general,

acest lucru este cauzat de un cip de memorie care nu este asezat î n mod

corespunzator. Montati din nou cipurile de memorie.

 Aceste coduri sunt putin mai complexe decat codurile AMI. Acest BIOS emite trei seturi de

beep-uri. De exemplu: 1 – pauza ; 3 – pauza ; 3 – pauza . Acesta este o combinatie 1-3-3 si

 fiecare set de beep-uri este separat printr-o scurta pauza. Ascultati aceasta secventa de sunete

 si numarati-le, eventual daca trebuie, dati un restart si numarati-le din nou.

1-1-3Computerul dumneavoastra nu poate ci informatia stocata de CMOS. Inlocuiti placa

baza.1-1-4  BIOS-ul vostru trebuie inlocuit.

1-2-1 Ceasul intern al placii de baza este defect. Aveti nevoie de o placa noua.

want to get real technical, you should probably have the guys in the lab coats test the

4-2-4Una din placi este defecta. Incercati sa le scoateti una cate una pentru a o identifica p

cea vinovata. Inlocuiti-o pe cea defecta. Intr-un final inlocuiti chiar placa de baza.

CMOS RAM   (  MEMORIA CMOS ) – este o memorie RAM semipermanenta ce stocheaza

 principalii parametrii de configuratie BIOS. Aceasta memorie contine informatii referitoare la:

caracteristicile hard disk- ului, data si ora sistemului, unitatile floppy, dispozitivul de afisare,

tastatura, parola sistemului.

 MEMORIA EXTINSA  - memoria care se afla deasupra granitei de 1 MB si pt. utilizarea

careia este nevoie de un driver special.
