    God led him to exclaim, It is time for thee, Lord,to work: for they have made void thy law. Thedisrespect shown to the law did not lessen its valuein the sight of the psalmist. Instead, he saw all themore need of standing in its defense; and as he sawit trampled under unholy feet, he exclaimed:Therefore I love thy commandments above gold;yea, above fine gold.     condition of Gods people in the last days. Theyare privileged to see by faith the work that is goingforward in the heavenly sanctuary. And thetemple of God was opened in heaven, and therewas seen in his temple the ark of his testament. Asthey look by faith into the holy of holies, and seethe work of Christ in the heavenly sanctuary, they

    perceive that they are a people of unclean lips,apeople whose lips have often spoken vanity, andwhose talents have not been sanctified andemployed to the glory of God. Well may theydespair as they contrast their own weakness andunworthiness with the purity and loveliness of theglorious character of Christ. But if they, likeIsaiah, will receive the impression the Lorddesigns shall be made upon the heart, if theywill humble their souls before God, there ishope for them. The bow of promise is above thethrone, and the work done for Isaiah will beperformed in them. God will respond to the

    The Shekinah GloryChrist Himself was the Lord of the temple.

    When He should leave it, its glory would departthat glory once visible in the holy of holies overthe mercy seat, where the high priest entered onlyonce a year, on the great day of atonement, withthe blood of the slain victim (typical of the bloodof the Son of God shed for the sins of the world),and sprinkled it upon the altar. This was the

    Shekinah, the visible pavilion of Jehovah.It was this glory that was revealed to Isaiah,when he says, In the year that king Uzziah died I

    Now Christ is in the heavenly sanctuary. Andwhat is He doing? Making atonement for us,cleansing the sanctuary from the sins of the people.Then we must enter by faith into the sanctuarywith Him, we must commence the work in thesanctuary of our souls. We are to cleanse ourselvesfrom all defilement. We must cleanse ourselves

    from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfectingholiness in the fear of God. Satan will come andtempt you and you will give way to histemptations. What then? Why, come and humbleyour hearts in confession, and by faith grasp thearm of Christ in the heavenly sanctuary. Believethat Christ will take your confession and hold upHis hands before the Fatherhands that have been

    bruised and wounded in our behalf and He willmake an atonement for all who will come withconfession. What if you cannot understand aboutthis matter?     The Manifestation of Gods PowerIsaiah had a wonderful view of Gods glory. He

    saw the manifestation of Gods power, and after

    beholding His majesty, a message came to him togo and do a certain work. He felt whollyunworthy for the work. What made him esteemhimself unworthy? Did he think himself unworthy

    before he had a view of Gods glory?No; heimagined himself in a righteous state beforeGod; but when the glory of the Lord of hosts wasrevealed to him, when he beheld the inexpressiblemajesty of God, he said, I am undone; because Iam a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midstof a people of unclean lips; for mine eyes have

    seen the King, the Lord of hosts. Then flew one ofthe seraphim unto me, having a living coal in hishands, which he had taken with the tongs from off

    Manifestarea puterii lui DumnezeuIsaia a avut o viziune minunat a slavei lui

    The Glorious Manifestations of the Power ofGod

    The angel who unites in the proclamation ofthe third angels message is to lighten the whole

    earth with his glory. A workof world-wide extentand unwonted power is here foretold. The adventmovement of 184044 was a gloriousmanifestation of the power of God; the firstangels message was carried to every missionarystation in the world, and in some countries therewas the greatest religious interest which has beenwitnessed in any land since the Reformation of thesixteenth century; but these are to be exceeded bythe mighty movement under the last warning of thethird angel.

    The workwill be similar to that of the Day ofPentecost. As the former rain was given, in theoutpouring of the Holy Spirit at the opening of thegospel, to cause the upspringing of the preciousseed, so the latter rain will be given at its closefor the ripening of the harvest.     We must not wait for the latter rain. It iscoming upon all who will recognize and

    appropriate the dew and showers of grace that fallupon us. When we gather up the fragments of light,when we appreciate the sure mercies of God, wholoves to have us trust Him, then every promise will
