Do you want to help provide nourishing fresh vegetables to our needy neighbors in the north and northwest suburbs? Who: Volunteer groups or individuals to work with our Master Gardener. Where: 671 S. Lewis, Waukegan, Illinois 60085 - behind our building. When: Work in our sixteen 4’x8’ raised vegetable gardens at our Waukegan site. They will require watering, weeding, and harvesting the vegetables once they are ripe.

What: The group will need to have representatives maintain it 1-3 times in the week signed up. Details: We will then distribute the fresh vegetables through our Food Pantry or at our Evening Suppers. Sign up for the week(s) your group (1-15 people) would like to help in the garden.
