Ca standard toate stavilarele Orbinox includ operarea manuala.

Pentru marimi mai reduse, stavilarele pot fi operate cu o roata

de mana in mod direct.

Orbinox are diferite diametre la rotile manuale:8”(225mm),12” (310mm), 17” (450mm) si 26” (650mm). In

functie de model si marime acestea pot fi confectionate din

fonta sau aluminiu.

Capacele stavilar care se fileteaza pot fi actionare prin piulita patrata de 2”.

‚Piulita poate fi confectionata din otel carbon, sau inox 304/316.

O bara in forma de T sau o actionare electrica mobila pot fi

utilizate in angrenarea piulitei.

Uzual, piulita este montata la 4”(100mm) mai jos fata de nivelul

de operare. Orbinox poate livra, la cerere, bara “T” care poate

din otel si vopsita, sau inox 304/316. Inaltimea standard pentru

bara „T” este de 32” (800mm).

Stem GuidePentru marimi mai mari, se recomanda monajul unui reductor sau a unui angrenaj reductor pentru a respecta prevederilestandardului AWWA , fara a depasi 178N sau 40lb.

Stem Extension

Angrenajul reductor poate fi actionat cu o roata de mana sau

manivela. Exista diferite diametre de roti de mana si manivele,functie de sarcina de ridicare necesara.

Manivela este proiectata pentru un montaj de 2” a piulitei

interschimbabila, deci reductorul poate fi operat si cu unsistem electric portabil. Manivela este dotata cu o roata pentru oopearare usoara.

Toate reductoarele au o carcasa de fonta protejata prin vopsire.

Atunci cand operatorul este prea inalt pentru un acces facil, unsistem lant-roata poate fi montat pe roata de mana areductorului, reprezentant o solutie foarte economica.

La cerere, un sistem de ridicare din inox poate fi livra, sistemmontat pe ghidaj care agata si elibereaza capacul stavilarin modautomat prin folosirea unui mecanism tip saiba.

Orbinox pune la dispozitie si un sistem de operare cu doua tije pentru stavilare. Ca regula generala, atunci cand latimea

capacului stavilar este dublul inaltimii, stavilarul trebuie sa fiedotat cu un astfel de sistem de actionare in scopul evitariiefectelor de incovoierein timpul operarii.

to withstand the f or ces during gate o per ation. They ar e

Orbinox has two floor stand models: Str aight Floor Stand

(FS-S) and Inclined Floor Stand (FS-I). The inclined floor

stand is very a ppr o pr iate f or installations where there is no

structure to support the str aight floor stand. This unique

inclined design prevents the need of a wall br ack et to

support the floor stand.

The over all height of the floor stand is 311/ 2”, so theo per ator (handwheel, bevel gear, etc.) is at waist level (36”

a ppr oximately).

The floor stands can be manuf actur ed in carbon steel or

stainless steel types 304L or 316L.

The gate o per ator is ty pically installed on the yoke of

the gate or on a floor stand. Orbinox floor stands are

designed to withstand the f or ces during gate o per ation.

In order to off er an economical solution that meets our

customers’ needs, Orbinox has develo ped diff er ent ver sions

of each model. For the rising stem conf igur ation, lar ger slide

gates gener ates bigger o per ating f or ces, and ther ef or eneed stronger floor stands. In consequence, Orbinox

off er s 3 diff er ent types of floor stands f or each model

standar d designs can’t be used due to space or other

Floor Stand Installation

Orbinox Floor Stands are installed by means of anchor

bolts. The char t below shows the type, size and quantity of

anchor bolts needed f or installation of each type of floor

stand.

The minimum concrete strenght shall be 3,000 psi (20.7

Steam Guide - DimensionsOrbinox has two stem guide models (SG-c50 and SG-c135)

that suit diff er ent slide gate sizes that require s pecif ic off set

distances f r om the wall.

Orbinox can also design and manuf actur e bigger stem

guides or s pecial designs to fit other type of installations such

as round manholes.

or der to avoid stem buck ling.

As a gener al r ule, Orbinox stem guides should be installed

f or every 6 1/ 2 ft (2 meters) of stem extension f or rising stem

conf igur ations, and f or every 9 3/ 4 ft (3 meters) f or non

rising stem conf igur ations.

The wall br ack et has a UHWMPE guide to reduce

f r iction between the wall br ack et and the extension. The

UHWMPE guide is f ield ad justa ble (offset f r om the wall) in

order to o btain a proper alignment of the extension.

The stem guides can be manuf actur ed in carbon steel or

stainless steel types 304L or 316L.
