Polyurethane has a rigid cellular structure with a density of 100kg/m3, good thermal conductivity - 0.020 W/mK due to pentane gas and an insulating effect with 30-40% better than that of known insulating materials. Due to the closed cell structure thermal bridges are avoided and the material is not sensitive to moisture, being a good waterproof material, not allowing the liquid water to pass, but permiting the transfer of approx. 5% of vapor volume of the room. Polyurethane is a good sound insulator, reaching untill 62 db and the organic composition does not affect the ozone layer and does not produce cancer. The material does not burn and does not maintain combustion. The lifecyrcle of such a material is 50 years.A polyurethane element with 30x40 cm dimensions has a density of less than 3 times in comparison with a cellular concrete element. The thermal conductivity is 3 times smaller, and as soundproofed about 50% more efficient.
