3.1. STUDII EXPERIMENTALE PROPRII În acesta parte se va prezenta modul în care a fost proiectata o reteta de mixtura asfaltica pentru stratul de uzura, mixtura cu dimensiunea maxima nominala de 16 mm, conform instructiunilor Superpave, nivelul 1 de proiectare, folosind girocompactorul. 3.1.1 Alegerea materialelor Bitumul. Acest studiu a fost realizat in laboratoarele Institutului de cai ferate drumri si poduri pe un tip de mixtura BA16. Pentru realizarea mixturii s-a folosit amestecul 1 de agregate si s-au propus patru procente de bitum.

3.1.2Metodologia studiului

Din mixtura BA16 s-au preparat mostre cilindrice cuTROXLER 4140. Diametrul tuturor mostrelor este de 100 mm. compactarea s-a realizat in conformitate cu normele Europene.

Pentru a evidential influenta marimii mostrelor asupra proprietatilor volumetrice a amestecurilor , s-au realizat 8 probe de mixtura asfaltica BA16, cate doua prove pentru fiecare procent de bitum . Probele au un diametru de 100 mm, iar inaltimile mostrelor au fost inregistrate pe tot parcursul compactarii.

Toate amestecurile au fost supuse la 288 de giratii acestea fiind numarul maxim recomandat, fiind cele mai severe conditii de trafic.

3.1.3Rezultate

Mai intai pe baza inaltimilor si greutatilor mostrelor s-a obtinut greutatea specifica volumica a mixturii compactate (Gmb), greutatea specifica volumica a agregaului (Gsb) si greutatea specifica maxima a mixturii (Gmm) la 288 de giratii.

3.2CONCLUZII

Pornind de la acest studiu experimental, in legatura cu marimea probelor pot fi trase urmatoarele concluzii:

în proiectarea reţetei de mixtură asfaltică se foloseşte proiectarea volumetrică a amestecului;

numărul de giraţii folosit pentru compactarea probelor în vederea stabilirii amestecului optim de agregate şi bitum, se stabileşte în funcţie de trafic şi de temperatură pentru o anumită valoare a densităţii care trebuie să coincidă cu densitatea mixturii din teren, în timpul perioadei de serviciu;

volumul de goluri in mixtura compactată şi volumul de goluri in amestecul de agregate scad cu creşterea numărului de giraţii; volumul de goluri umplute cu bitum şi densitatea exprimată ca procent din greutatea specifică maximă a mixturii cresc cu creşterea numărului de giraţii;

acelaşi volum de goluri în mixtura compactată Vg se atinge pentru un număr de giraţii diferit în funcţie de procentul de bitum; de exemplu, pentru un procent de bitum de 4.8%, valoarea de 4% impusă pentru volumul de goluri în mixtură Vg se atinge pentru 225 de giraţii, pentru 185 de giraţii în cazul mixturii asfaltice cu procent de bitum 5.07%, pentru 225 de giraţii în cazul mixturii asfaltice cu procent de bitum 5.5% si pentru 90 de giraţii în cazul mixturii asfaltice cu procent de bitum 6.1% ;

variaţiile volumului de goluri în mixtura compactată Vg, a volumului de goluri în amestecul de agregate VGA, a volumului de goluri umplute cu bitum VGB şi a densităţii aparente ra cu procentul de bitum sunt asemănătoare, curbele obţinute fiind aproximativ paralele;

din studiul de reţetă, procentul optim de bitum modificat rezultat este de 5.04% .

creşterea procentului de bitum conduce la modificarea : volumului de goluri din mixtura compactata, a volumului de goluri din agregate si volumului de goluri umplute cu bitum :

o pentru o crestere a procentului de bitum cu 5.32% (de la 4.8% la 5.07%) avem: o scadere a volumului de goluri

din mixtura compactata Va de 10.87% (de la 4.6% la 4.1%), o crestere a volumului de goluri din agregate VMA de 0.95% (de la 15.58% la 15.73%) si o crestere a volumului de goluri umplute cu bitum VFA de 4.45%(de la 70.48% la 73.77%)

o pentru o crestere a procentului de bitum cu 7.81% (de la 5.07% la 5.5%) avem: o crestere a volumului de goluri din mixtura compactata Va de 10.87% (de la 4.1% la 4.6%), o crestere a volumului de goluri din agregate VMA de 7.6% (de la 15.73% la 17.03%) si o scadere a volumului de goluri umplute cu bitum VFA de 0.91%(de la 73.77% la 73.10%)

o pentru o crestere a procentului de bitum cu 9.84% (de la 5.5% la 6.1%) avem: scadere a volumului de goluri din mixtura compactata Va de 34.78% (de la 4.6% la 3%), o scadere a volumului de goluri din agregate VMA de 0.46% (de la 17.03% la 16.95%) si o crestere a volumului de goluri umplute cu bitum VFA de 10.92%(de la 73.10% la 82.07%).

creşterea procentului de bitum conduce la modificarea : greutatii maxime a mixturii la N-i, la N_p si la N_max  :

o pentru o crestere a procentului de bitum cu 5.32% (de la 4.8% la 5.07%) avem: o crestere a greutatii maxime a mixturii Gmm la N_i de 0.79% (de la 87% la 87.7%), o crestere a greutatii maxime a mixturii Gmm la N_p de 0.52% (de la 95.4% la 95.9%) si o crestere a greutatii maxime a mixturii Gmm la N_max de 0.41%(de la 96.4% la 96.8%)

o pentru o crestere a procentului de bitum cu 7.81% (de la 5.07% la 5.5%) avem : o scadere a greutatii maxime a mixturii Gmm la N_i de 0.79% (de la 87.7% la 87%), o scadere a greutatii maxime a mixturii Gmm la N_p de 0.52% (de la 95.9% la 95.4%) si o scadere a greutatii maxime a mixturii Gmm la N_max de 0.41%(de la 96.8% la 96.3%)

o pentru o crestere a procentului de bitum cu 9.84% (de la 5.5% la 6.1%) avem: o crestere a greutatii maxime a

mixturii Gmm la N_i de 2.24% (de la 87% la 89%), o crestere a greutatii maxime a mixturii Gmm la N_p de 1.64% (de la 95.4% la 97%) si o crestere a greutatii maxime a mixturii Gmm la N_max de 1.03%(de la 96.3% la 97.3%).

Cercetarea se va continua cu efectuarea încercărilor la oboseală şi fluaj dinamic atât pentru probele compactate la numărul maxim de giraţii cât şi pentru probe confecţionate cu procentul de liant recomandat ca fiind optim la un număr de giraţii de proiectare.
