Dear Bill:

Here it is, the "NEWS STORY" you've been patiently waitingfor. Please forgive the delay in getting this to you. Ihave had some difficulty in getting all the information together for you. Basically, because I was under the care oftwo doctors because of illness and from a water—skiing accident. However, I Praise the Lord for HIS complete healing. From the accident I learned I had a herniated disk in mylower back. At present there are no signs of ciny herniationof problem to the disk. PRAISE OUR BLESSED LORD!!!

An other reason for the delay was because my former forwarding agent, Jeri Roesch, moved to California, and I did notreceive your letter till just before she left in July. I nowhave new forwarding agents and am eKcited about working withthem. I feel they will do a good job in representing me andthe Mission.

I just recently returned from a 14 month furlough in thestates that started on July 4, 1987, and I returned onSeptember 22, 1988. During that time, I continued as C. V.Kim's secretary, and went back to school full-time. I attended Ivy Tech College (Indiana Vocational Technical) inSellersburg, Indiana- On May 13 of this year, I graduatedwith an Associates Degree in Word Processing-

Currentiy, I am continuing as C.Y.'s personal secretary, doing most the correspondence to our supporters in the statesand elsewhere. I also write all the monthly prayerlettersand quarterly newsletters. I am not teaching at this timelike I was before my furlough. However, I may be workingwith the graduate students starting next semester (March '89)in helping them prepare for studying aboard.

I also work with two orphanages that we work with, and hopefully get to travel with the medical team when I have time. The team travels to the orphanages and to area villages wherethere is no medical treatment available nearby, I am prayingthat sometime in the near future, and Lord Willing, I can beable to work in some capacity of music. I enjoy music verymuch, and would like to use it in my ministry in some way.

I hope I have given you some help on what has happened andwhat is going to happen. I plan to be in Korea with Christ'sKorean Mission for the next three years. I anticipate a lotof good things to happen during my remaining time in Korea.

May God richly bless you, Brother Bill, as you continue toserve Him. We greatly appreciate the work you are doing-Again, forgive the delay in getting this to you.
