Produs intern brut (PIB)*) Produsul intern brut - date neajustate sezonier - estimat pentru semestrul I 2015 a fost de 302717,2 milioane lei preuri curente, n cretere - n termeni reali cu 3,8 procente comparativ cu semestrul I 2014. Din punct de vedere al formrii produsului intern brut, n semestrul I 2015, se remarc creterea n volum a valorii adugate brute din majoritatea ramurilor economice: informaii i comunicaii (+13,4%), comer cu ridicata i cu amnuntul; repararea autovehiculelor i motocicletelor; transport i depozitare; hoteluri i restaurante (+6,2%), construcii (+5,5%), industrie (+2,2%), intermedieri financiare i asigurri (+2,2%), agricultur, silvicultur i pescuit (+2,0%), activiti profesionale, tiinifice i tehnice; administraii i activiti de servicii suport (+1,9%), administraie public i aprare; asigurri sociale din sistemul public; nvmnt; sntate i asisten social (+1,7%), tranzacii imobiliare (+1,2%), activiti de spectacole, culturale i recreative; reparaii de produse de uz casnic i alte activiti (+0,8%). Valoarea adugat brut a crescut pe total cu 3,7%. n semestrul I 2015, volumul impozitelor nete pe produs a crescut cu 4,3% fa de semestrul I 2014. Analiza factorilor care au contribuit la creterea cu 3,8% a produsului intern brut evideniaz influena dominant a serviciilor (+2,5%) i a industriei (+0,6%).

Gross Domestic Product (GDP)*) The Gross Domestic Product seasonally unadjusted data - estimated for the first semester of 2015 amounted to lei 302717.2 million current prices, increasing in real terms by 3.8%, compared to the first semester of 2014. From the viewpoint of GDP formation, in the first semester of 2015, one should notice the increase in volume of gross value added in most of the economic branches: information and communications (+13.4%), wholesale and retail; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; transport and storage; hotels and restaurants (+6.2%), construction (+5.5%), industry (+2.2%), financial intermediation and insurance (+2.2%), agriculture, forestry and fishing (+2.0%), professional, scientific and technical activities; activities of administrative services and of support services (+1.9%), public administration and defence; social insurance of public sector; education; health and social assistance (+1.7%), real estate transactions (+1.2%), showbiz, culture and recreation activities; repair of household goods and other services (+0.8%). The gross value added increased by 3.7% per total. During to the first semester of 2015, the volume of net taxes on product increased by 4.3% compared to the first semester of 2014. The analysis of factors that contributed to the 3.8% growth of GDP points out the prevalent influence of services (+2.5%) and industry (+0.6%).

Produsul intern brut n preuri curente se calculeaz ca sum a valorii elementelor sale componente exprimate n preuri curente. n mod similar, PIB n preuri constante se determin pe baza aceleiai relaii de calcul, cu meniunea c valoarea fiecrui element component este estimat n preuri constante pe baza indicilor de pre corespunztori. Indicele de pre al PIB se calculeaz prin raportarea valorii n preuri curente a acestui agregat la valoarea exprimat n preuri constante i nglobeaz efectele tuturor modificrilor de pre intervenite n economie. Evoluia produsului intern brut din punct de vedere al utilizrii evideniaz o cretere a importului de bunuri i servicii (+10,6%) peste cea a exportului de 8,3%. Cererea intern a crescut cu 4,9%. Consumul final individual efectiv al gospodriilor populaiei (+4,8%), n semestrul I 2015, a fost influenat, n sens pozitiv de creterea volumului de mrfuri vndute prin comerul cu amnuntul (+4,9%) i a volumului serviciilor de pia prestate populaiei (+5,1%). Creterea volumului importurilor de bunuri i servicii (+10,6%) i a exporturilor de bunuri i servicii (+8,3%) au influenat deficitul Balanei comerciale i de pli ale Romniei. Astfel, n

The gross domestic product at current prices is calculated as the sum of its components value in current prices. Similarly, the GDP at constant prices is calculated based on the same relation, with the observation that the value of each component is estimated at constant prices by using appropriate price indices. The price index of GDP is calculated as a ratio between its value at current prices and its value at constant prices and includes the effects of all the changes in prices taking place in the economy. The evolution of gross domestic product from the viewpoint of its use points out an increase of import in goods and services (+10.6%) over that of exports by 8.3%. Domestic demand increased by 4.9%. During the first semester of 2015, the households actual individual final consumption (+4.8%) was positively influenced by the increase in the volume of goods sold by retail (+4.9%) and in the volume of market services rendered to the population (+5.1%). The increase in imports of goods and services (+10.6%) and in exports of goods and services (+8.3%) volume has influenced the Romanian trade balance and Balance of

Payments deficit. Thus, in the first semester of 2015, the Balance of Payments deficit was, in real terms, by 275.3% lower than in the first semester of 2014. The analysis of factors that contributed to the 3.8% growth of gross domestic product, from the viewpoint of GDP use, points out the significant contribution of households individual consumption (+3.5%) and gross fixed capital formation (+1.7%). The net export (-1.0%) and the change in inventories (-0.6%) had negative effect.

Produsul Intern Brut - date ajustate sezonier - estimat pentru trimestrul II 2015 a fost de 172903,9 milioane lei preuri curente, n cretere n termeni reali cu 0,1% fa de trimestrul I 2015. Creteri importante au avut ramurile: informaii i comunicaii (+4,6%), activiti profesionale, tiinifice i tehnice; activiti de servicii administrative i activiti de servicii suport (+4,4%), tranzacii imobiliare (+3,1%), intermedieri financiare i asigurri (+1,9%). Scderi au fost nregistrate n: agricultur, silvicultur i pescuit (-7,8%), comer cu ridicata i cu amnuntul; repararea autovehiculelor i motocicletelor, transport i depozitare; hoteluri i restaurante (-1,4%), industrie (-0,7%). Impozitele nete pe produs au crescut cu 0,6%. Din punct de vedere al utilizrii produsului intern brut, n trimestrul II 2015 rezult creterea cu 3,8% a formrii brute de capital fix i cu 0,4% a consumului individual efectiv al gospodriilor populaiei. Volumul importurilor de bunuri i servicii a crescut cu 1,4%, iar volumul exporturilor de bunuri i servicii cu 0,1%.

The Gross Domestic Product seasonally adjusted data estimated for the second quarter of 2015 amounted to 172903.9 million lei current prices, increasing in real terms by 0.1% compared to the first quarter of 2015. Important increases had the following branches: information and communications (+4.6%), professional, scientific and technical activities; activities of administrative services and of support services (+4.4%), real estate transactions (+3.1%), financial intermediation and insurance (+1.9%). Decreases were registered in: agriculture, forestry and fishing (-7.8%), wholesale and retail; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; transport and storage; hotels and restaurants (-1.4%), industry (-0.7%). Net taxes on product increased by 0.6%. From the viewpoint of gross domestic product use in the second quarter of 2015, it results the increase by 3.8% of gross fixed capital formation and by 0.4% of households actual individual consumption. The volume of goods and services imports increased by 1.4%, while the exports volume of goods and services by 0.1%.

Scderi de preuri s-au nregistrat la legume i conserve din legume (-5,6%), la fructe i conserve din fructe (-5,6%), la cacao i cafea (-0,1%), la carne de pasre (-0,1%). La mrfurile nealimentare s-au nregistrat creteri de preuri la mobil (+0,2%), la confecii (+0,1%). Scderi de preuri s-au nregistrat la combustibili (-2,9%), la medicamente (-0,5%). Evoluia tarifelor la servicii a fost influenat de creterea tarifelor la ap, canal, salubritate (+0,3%), la ngrijire medical (+0,2%), la alte servicii (+0,1%), la confecionat i reparat mbrcminte i nclminte (+0,1%). Resursele de energie primar Principalele resurse de energie primar, n perioada 1.I-31.VIII.2015, au totalizat 21828,5 mii tone echivalent2) petrol (din care 14650,9 mii tone echivalent petrol din producia intern), n cretere cu 3,9% fa de perioada 1.I-31.VIII.2014, ca urmare a creterii importului cu 10,9% i a produciei de resurse de energie primar cu 0,9%. Producia de energie electric, n perioada 1.I-31.VIII.2015, a nsumat 43338,1 milioane kWh, n cretere cu 4,4% fa de perioada 1.I-31.VIII.2014. Cea mai mare parte din producie, continu s se obin n termocentrale clasice (40,2%), urmat de hidrocentrale (27,9%). Exportul de energie electric a crescut cu 45,1%. 2. Construcii *) n luna august 2015, lucrrile de construcii au nregistrat o cretere de 10,8% fa de luna august 2014, cretere constatat pe elemente de structur, la lucrrile de ntreinere i reparaii curente (+27,2%), la lucrri de reparaii capitale (+22,8%) i la lucrri de construcii noi (+3,0%), iar pe tipuri de construcii, la construcii inginereti (+37,6%). Pe tipuri de construcii s-au nregistrat scderi de 16,9% la cldiri nerezideniale i de 9,9% la cldiri rezideniale. n luna august 2015 s-au eliberat, pentru cldiri rezideniale, 4766 autorizaii de construire, cu 20,0% mai mult fa de iulie 2015 i cu 31,7% fa de luna corespunztoare din anul 2014. 3. Agricultur Producia recoltat la data de 22 septembrie 2015, comparativ cu aceeai dat a anului 2014 a fost mai mare la: struguri de vin (+132,9 mii tone) i struguri de mas (+7,3 mii tone) i mai mic la: cartofi de toamn (-932,1 mii tone), floarea soarelui (-535,5 mii tone), porumb i sorg (-191,1 mii tone), soia (-6,2 mii tone).

1.4. Resources of primary energy During 1.I-31.VIII.2015, the main resources of primary energy amounted to 21828.5 thousand tonnes oil equivalent2) (out of which 14650.9 thousand tonnes oil equivalent from domestic production), by 3.9% more than during 1.I-31.VIII.2014, as a result of the increase in import by 10.9% and in the production of primary energy resources by 0.9%. During 1.I-31.VIII.2015, the production of electric energy amounted to 43338.1 million kWh, by 4.4% more than during 1.I-31.VIII.2014. Most of the production is still obtained in classical thermo-power stations (40.2%), followed by hydro-power stations (27.9%). The final consumption of electric energy was 34988.8 million kWh during 1.I-31.VIII.2015, by 6.2% more than during 1.I-31.VIII.2014; public lighting increased by 31.4%, and the population consumption increased by 4.1%. The export of electric energy increased by 45.1%. 2. Construction*) In August 2015, the construction works registered an increase by 10.8% compared to August 2014, by structure elements, for maintenance and current repair works (+27.2%), for capital repair works (+22.8%) and for new construction work (+3.0%), while by types of construction, for civil engineering (+37.6%). By type of construction, there were registered decreases by 16.9% for non-residential buildings and by 9.9% for residential buildings. Volumul cifrei de afaceri a ntreprinderilor cu activitate principal de comer cu ridicata i cu amnuntul al autovehiculelor i motocicletelor; ntreinerea i repararea acestora, a fost mai mic cu 8,3% n luna august 2015, fa de nivelul lunii iulie 2015. Scderi s-au nregistrat la ntreinerea i repararea autovehiculelor (-14,7%) i la comerul cu autovehicule (-12,5%). Comerul cu motociclete, piese i accesorii aferente; ntreinerea i repararea motocicletelor a crescut cu 4,2%, iar comerul cu piese i accesorii pentru autovehicule cu 0,2%. In August 2015, the turnover volume of enterprises having as main activity wholesale and retail, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, was by 8.3% less than in July 2015. Decreases were registered for: maintenance and repair of motor vehicles (-14.7%) and trade of motor vehicles (-12.5%). Indicele de utilizare net a locurilor de cazare n luna august 2015 a fost de 42,5% pe total structuri de primire turistic cu funciuni de cazare turistic, n cretere cu 2,4 puncte procentuale faa de luna august 2014. Cea mai ridicat valoare a nregistrat-o indicele de utilizare net la hoteluri (52,5 %), la popasuri turistice (40,1%), la vile turistice (38,5 %), la sate de vacan (36,6%), hanuri (33,9%) i la hosteluri (33,2%). Pe zone turistice,cel mai mare indice a fost cel aferent zonei Staiuni balneare (66,7%). Sosirile vizitatorilor strini n Romnia n luna august 2015 au fost n cretere cu 10,0% fa de luna august 2014. The overnight stays in establishments of tourist reception with functions of tourist accommodation experienced an increase by 14.3% in August 2015, compared to August 2014. In August 2015 the net use index of accommodation bed places was 42.5% per total establishments of tourist reception with functions of tourist accommodation, by 2.4 percentage points more compared to August 2014. The net use index of accommodation bed places registered the highest value for hotels (52.5%), for touristic halting places (40.1%), for touristic villas (38.5%), for holiday villages (36.6%), for inns (33.9%) and for hostels (33.2%). By tourist areas, the highest index was registered by Spa resorts (66.7%). In August 2015, the foreign visitors arrivals in Romania increased by 10.0%, compared to August 2014. Most of foreign visitors come from European countries (93.5%). 54.9% of total arrivals of foreign visitors in Romania relate to

The road means of transportation were mostly used by the Romanian visitors for their departures abroad (83.1% of total departures). 6.2 Comparison with the 1.I-31.VIII.2014 period Arrivals in the tourist reception establishments registered a growth of 17.2% during 1.I-31.VIII.2015, compared to 1.I-31.VIII.2014. Arrivals of Romanian tourists in tourist reception establishments with accommodation functions represented 77.6% of total arrivals during 1.I-31.VIII.2015, while foreign tourists represented 22.4% of total arrivals. During 1.I-31.VIII.2015, overnight stays in tourist reception establishments registered an increase by 15.7%, compared to 1.I-31.VIII.2014. Overnight stays of Romanian tourists in tourist reception establishments with accommodation functions represented 81.6% of total overnight stays, during 1.I-31.VIII.2015, while overnight stays of foreign tourists represented 18.4%. Index of net use of accommodation bed places was 29.5% per total tourist accommodation establishments during 1.I-31.VIII.2015, increasing by 2.9 percentage points, compared to 1.I-31.VIII.2014 period. Higher net use indices of the accommodation places were registered by hotels (36.8%), touristic villas (23.4%), touristic houselet-type units (22.2%) and hostels (22.0%) during 1.I-31.VIII.2015. Arrivals of foreign visitors in Romania registered at customs increased by 10.6% during 1.I-31.VIII.2015, compared to 1.I-31.VIII.2014 period. Most of foreign visitors come from European countries (92.9%). 56.9% of total arrivals of foreign visitors in Romania were registered from European Union states. Among European Union states, most of arrivals in total arrivals of foreign visitors were registered from: Hungary (31.0%), Bulgaria (26.9%), Germany (8.5%), Poland (7.3%), Italy (6.0%), and Austria (3.7%). Departures of Romanian visitors abroad registered at customs increased by 8.4% during 1.I-31.VIII.2015, compared to 1.I-31.VIII.2014 period. Road transport means were mostly used by Romanian visitors for departures abroad (79.1% of total departures).

7. Ctiguri salariale Ctigul salarial nominal mediu brut pe economie n luna august 2015 a fost de 2515 lei, iar cel net de 1813 lei. Ctigul salarial mediu brut ct i cel net au sczut cu 1,9% fa de nivelul lunii iulie 2015. Fa de luna august a anului 2014, ctigul salarial mediu nominal net a crescut cu 7,7%. n luna august 2015, raportul dintre indicele ctigului salarial nominal mediu net i indicele preurilor de consum a fost 98,6% comparativ cu luna precedent, 109,8% fa de luna corespunztoare a anului 2014 i 138,1% comparativ cu luna octombrie 1990.

7. Earnings In August 2015, the gross average nominal earnings per total economy were 2515 lei and the net one was 1813 lei. The average gross earnings and the net one decreased by 1.9% compared to July 2015. The net nominal average earnings increased by 7.7%, compared to August 2014. 9. omaj Potrivit datelor furnizate de Agenia Naional Pentru Ocuparea Forei de Munc, numrul omerilor nregistrai la sfritul lunii august 2015 era de 444,4 mii persoane. Comparativ cu luna august din anul 2014, numrul omerilor nregistrai la ageniile pentru ocuparea forei de munc a fost mai mic cu 19,5 mii persoane. Din numrul total al omerilor nregistrai, femeile reprezentau 43,3%. Rata omajului nregistrat n luna august 2015 a fost de 4,9% n raport cu populaia activ civil total (5,1% n luna august 2014). Rata omajului pentru femei a fost cu 0,6 puncte procentuale mai mic dect cea nregistrat pentru brbai (4,6% fa de 5,2%). Rate ridicate ale omajului s-au nregistrat n judeele: Teleorman (11,1%), Vaslui (10,5%), Buzu i Mehedini (9,7% fiecare), Galai (9,6%), Dolj (8,9%), Olt (7,6%), Gorj (7,5%), Giurgiu (7,3%), Dmbovia (7,1%), Brila i Clrai (6,9% fiecare), Ialomia (6,6%), Bacu, Covasna i Suceava (6,3% fiecare), Hunedoara (5,9%), Neam i Vrancea (5,7% fiecare), Vlcea (5,5%), Alba (5,4%), Mure (5,1%), Harghita (5,0%), Arge (4,9%). Cele mai sczute rate ale omajului au fost n judeele: Municipiul Bucureti (1,9%), Ilfov i Timi (1,4% fiecare).

9. Unemployment According to the data provided by the National Agency for Employment, the number of registered unemployed was 444.4 thousand persons at the end of August 2015. In comparison with August 2014, the number of unemployed registered at the agencies for employment was with 19.5 thousand persons lower. Out of total registered unemployed, women represented 43.3%. The unemployment rate registered in August 2015 was 4.9% compared to the total civil active population (5.1% in August 2014). Female unemployment rate was by 0.6 percentage points lower than the male unemployment rate (4.6% compared to 5.2%). High unemployment rates were registered in the following counties: Teleorman (11.1%), Vaslui (10.5%), Buzu and Mehedini (9.7% each), Galai (9.6%), Dolj (8.9%), Olt (7.6%), Gorj (7.5%), Giurgiu (7.3%), Dmbovia (7.1%), Brila and Clrai (6.9% each), Ialomia (6.6%), Bacu, Covasna and Suceava (6.3% each), Hunedoara (5.9%), Neam and Vrancea (5.7% each), Vlcea (5.5%), Alba (5.4%), Mure (5.1%), Harghita (5.0%), Arge (4.9%).
