The indispensable instrumentIdentium®

Precision impression
Product properties:
✓ Excellent flowability (best shark-fin values)
✓ Exceptional hydrophilicity (immediate contact angle <10°)
✓ Outstanding elastomeric properties of an A-silicone
✓ Odorless and neutral taste for relaxing the patient
✓ Extra-long intraoral working time (80 seconds), extra-short intraoral setting time (2:30 minutes)
✓ Available as Regular set and Fast set, in cartridges 380 ml (5:1) and 50 ml (1:1)
Identium® was specially developed for the one-step
impression technique and combines the best of both
worlds: the advantages of polyether materials coupled with
those of A-silicones. Based on the entirely new material of
Vinylsiloxanether® (VSXE®), Identium® provides excellent
flowability, which in combination with exceptional
hydrophilicity (lowest achievable contact angle of less
than 10° after 1 second) ensures optimal fl ow behavior
in a moist environment, even in the narrowest sulcus
crevices. Due to its highly elastic properties Identium®
exhibits dimensionally accurate recovery and allows very
easy removal. It is also odorless and has a neutral taste.
The first real alternative to
polyether
User benefi ts:
✓ Wide product range: always the correct product for your requirements
✓ Optimum product properties guarantee precise impressions
✓ Easy to remove, both from the model and from the patient’s mouth
✓ Now with shortened intraoral setting time for increased convenience
✓ Easy, reliable use in the new jumbo cartridge
90 seconds quicker and considerably more hydro-
philic than polyether

Optimum flow
behavior in a moist
environment
Identium® Medium is a medium viscosity Vinylsiloxan-
ether® impression material with high final hardness,
ideal for impressions in implantology and for fabricating
crowns/bridges, inlays/onlays and veneers, for pick-up
and functional impressions.
Advantages
✓ Optimum flow behavior (lowest achievable contact angle of less than 10° after 1 second) as basis for precise results
✓ Extra-long intraoral working time of 80 seconds (making it also highly suitable for larger restorations), coupled with extra-short intraoral setting time of 2:30 minutes
✓ Best elastomer properties ensure dimensionally accurate elastic recovery and easy, reliable removal from the mouth
✓ Odorless and neutral-tasting material relaxes the patient(no gagging, no movement)
✓ Compatible with disinfectants available on the market; pouring without waiting time
✓ Available as Regular set and Fast set in the practical 380 ml jumbo cartridge from Kettenbach and in the familiar 50 ml cartridge

build-up for the
one-step technique
Identium® Heavy is a high viscosity Vinylsiloxanether®
impression material with high fi nal hardness, particularly
suitable for the one-step technique (in combination with
the low viscosity Identium® Light) used for impressions for
fabricating crowns/bridges, inlays/onlays and veneers, for
functional and implant impressions and for impressions
with removable restorations.
Advantages
✓ Outstanding dimensional stability, high pressure build-up
✓ Extra-short intraoral setting time of 2:30 minutes saves time when taking impressions
✓ Best elastomer properties ensure dimensionally accurate elastic recovery and easy, reliable removal from the mouth
✓ Odorless and neutral-tasting material relaxes the patient(no gagging, no movement)

Highest precision
due to maximum
flowability and best
hydrophilicity!
Identium® Light is a low viscosity, addition-curing,
elastomer impression material on a Vinylsiloxanether®
base in a 1:1 cartridge, particularly suitable for the one-
step technique (in combination with the high viscosity
Identium® Heavy) used for impressions for fabricating
crowns/bridges, inlays/onlays and veneers, for functional
and implant impressions and impressions with removable
restorations.
Advantages
✓ Outstanding flowability: even the narrowest sulcus crevices are recorded
✓ Optimum hydrophilicity (contact angle < 10°) forms the basis in a moist environment for highly precise impressions
✓ Extra-long intraoral working time of 80 seconds, making it also ideal for larger restorations
✓ Particularly short intraoral setting time saves valuable practice time
✓ Optimal for the one-step technique in combination with Identium® Heavy tray material
✓ Also available as quick-setting Fast set in the conventional50 ml cartridge
